Free AI SEO audit
in under a minute
The most complete free SEO audit tool: on-page score, live Google SERP analysis, AI citations across Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, plus ready-to-paste title, meta and FAQ rewrites.
How the audit works
Three steps. Forty-five seconds. Zero setup.
We fetch and parse your page
Headless fetch of your URL. We extract the title, H1, meta description, headings, word count, and first paragraph — the stuff Google and AI models actually read.
We run the dual scan in parallel
Google SERP top 10 via DataForSEO, then three real queries to Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Google AI Overviews through Oxylabs. All four engines hit at once, no waiting.
We generate your fix list
An LLM reads your page against the SERP winners and writes title variants, meta descriptions, an intro rewrite, and a FAQ JSON-LD block. Everything is copy-paste ready.
Everything in your report
Not a checklist. A decision tree with the rewrites already written.
Dual scores
SEO score out of 100 for Google, AI visibility score out of 100 across three engines. One number for traditional search, one for answer engines.
Top 3 critical fixes
Prioritized by impact, not alphabetical. Each fix explains what is broken, why it matters for ranking, and the exact change to make.
AI engine breakdown
For each of Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Google AI Overviews: were you cited, were you mentioned without a link, which competitor took the spot instead.
Content gap analysis
Word count delta against the SERP top 10, plus the missing topics and headings the ranking pages cover and yours does not.
Title and meta rewrites
Three title tag variants and three meta description variants, each under the character limits, each optimized for your keyword and page intent.
Intro plus FAQ schema
A rewritten opening paragraph that front-loads the keyword, plus a ready-to-paste FAQPage JSON-LD block built from your content.
How it compares to other SEO tools
Honest comparison. We are best at single-page AI audits. The others win on things like multi-page crawls — that is fine, we are complementary.

Copy-paste your fixes into any AI editor
Stop rewriting prompts. We already wrote them.
Every audit ends with a markdown-formatted fix pack you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Zed, or any AI editor. Title variants, meta descriptions, intro rewrite, and FAQ schema, all pre-structured so you or your team can ship the changes without reformatting a thing.
Everything to know about SEO audits in 2026
A complete SEO audit is not a score out of 100. It is a diagnosis that tells you why your page is not ranking, and what to fix in which order to change that. Here is what you should know before running your first audit.
The 8 pillars of a complete SEO audit
A modern SEO audit covers eight dimensions. Free tools usually skim three or four. Good audits cover all eight:
- 01
Indexability
Is your page crawlable and indexable by Google, GPTBot, PerplexityBot? A misplaced noindex kills an SEO audit before it even starts.
- 02
Metadata
Title, meta description, canonical, Open Graph, JSON-LD schema. The foundation of any on-page SEO audit.
- 03
Content structure
One H1, logical H2/H3 hierarchy, reasonable keyword density (1 to 2 percent), paragraph length.
- 04
Content quality
Word count, depth, alignment with search intent, freshness of the information.
- 05
Performance
Core Web Vitals, load times, visual stability, INP. This is what PageSpeed Insights measures.
- 06
Internal linking
Inbound links, relevant anchors, internal PageRank distribution from your strongest pages.
- 07
External backlinks
Referring domains, authority, anchor profile, velocity. This is Ahrefs and Majestic territory.
- 08
AI visibility (AEO)
Citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews. The dimension every 2026 SEO audit must include.
Most free SEO audit tools stop at 4 or 5 pillars. Ours covers all 8 in real time, with special attention on AEO.
Technical, on-page or AEO SEO audit: what is the difference?
The technical SEO audit
Focuses on infrastructure: robots.txt, sitemap, hreflang tags, schema, redirects, speed, HTTPS. This is what Screaming Frog, Sitebulb or Oncrawl do. It answers the question: "Can Google crawl my site correctly?"
The on-page SEO audit
Focuses on one specific page: title, meta, H1, headings, keyword usage, internal links, word count, image alt text. This is what Yoast, Rank Math or our tool do. It answers the question: "Does this page deserve to rank for this keyword?"
The AEO audit
Measures your visibility in AI answer engines: are you cited when ChatGPT or Perplexity answers a question about your domain? Robot Speed is one of the first free tools to include this dimension in a standard SEO audit.
The three are complementary. For a new site, start with the on-page and AEO audit (our tool), then run a quarterly technical audit with a multi-page crawler.
How to read your SEO audit score
Our tool returns two scores out of 100, completely independent:
SEO score (0 to 100)
Grades your page against 15 on-page criteria: title length, keyword presence, H1 quality, content depth, meta description, heading structure, keyword in URL, images with alt, FAQ schema. A score above 75 means your page respects the fundamentals. Below 50, you have critical gaps blocking the ranking.
AI visibility score (0 to 100)
Grades your presence in Perplexity, ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews answers for your target keyword. Each engine that cites you with a link adds about 33 points. A score above 66 means most AIs cite you. A score of 0 means no AI mentions you — fix first if you target AEO.
You can have 90/100 on SEO and 0/100 on AI visibility (common case for sites optimized for Google but invisible in AI engines). The modern goal is to be strong on both.
SEO audit mistakes to avoid
Audit once and forget
An SEO audit is a snapshot. Re-audit after every meaningful change, ideally once a month.
Ignoring the content gap
Your page has 500 words while the SERP top 10 averages 2,500? No other fix will compensate for that gap.
Fixing the title without touching the H1
Title and H1 must be semantically aligned. Changing one without the other creates a dissonance Google reads negatively.
Forgetting AEO
A growing share of search queries already goes through AI engines. A 2026 SEO audit must include the AEO dimension, or you're optimizing for yesterday.
Keyword stuffing
Ideal density is 1 to 2 percent. Above 3 percent, Google applies an over-optimization penalty that neutralizes all your other efforts.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know before running an audit.
What is an AI SEO audit?
An AI SEO audit combines traditional Google SEO scoring with AI visibility tracking across Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Google AI Overviews. It tells you if AI assistants cite your page when asked about your target keyword, not just whether Google ranks it.
How is this different from a regular SEO checker?
Regular SEO checkers grade your page against Yoast-style on-page rules and stop there. Our tool adds two things no one else offers in a free tool: live AI citation checks across three AI engines, and copy-paste-ready fixes generated by AI.
What AI engines do you check?
Perplexity, ChatGPT (with web search), and Google AI Overviews. We query each with your target keyword and check whether your URL appears in their cited sources or is mentioned in the answer text.
Is the audit free?
Yes, completely free. Rate-limited to 3 audits per hour per IP to keep costs sustainable. Results are cached for 24 hours.
What are the AI-generated fixes?
Once the audit completes, we use AI to generate three optimized title variants, three meta description variants, an AI-optimized intro paragraph, and a ready-to-paste FAQPage JSON-LD schema, all tailored to your page content and target keyword.
How is this different from PageSpeed Insights?
PageSpeed Insights grades your Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse score. It never looks at content, keywords, SERP rankings, or AI citations. We do the opposite: we assume your page loads fast enough, and focus on whether Google and AI engines think your content deserves to rank for your target keyword.
Can I audit a competitor's page?
Yes. Paste any public URL and any keyword. The audit runs the same way and you will see exactly why that page ranks (or does not) on Google and gets cited (or does not) by AI engines. Useful for reverse-engineering competitor wins.
Do you store my URL or cache results?
Results are cached for 24 hours keyed on URL, keyword, and country, so repeat audits return instantly without re-hitting the APIs. We do not associate audits with accounts, do not send emails, and do not sell data. The cache is purely for cost and speed.
How often should I re-audit a page?
Re-audit after any meaningful change: new title, new intro, new H2s, new internal links. Beyond that, once a month is plenty for most pages. AI engines update their indexes on different schedules, so same-day re-audits rarely show movement.
What is the difference between SEO and AEO?
SEO (search engine optimization) is about ranking in Google, Bing, and traditional SERPs. AEO (answer engine optimization), sometimes called GEO (generative engine optimization), is about being cited when ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Google AI Overviews answer a question. Same page, different optimization targets. This tool scores both.
